We're probably heading to the end as we know it. Many predictions points this date as the shift. The history has never documented a broader advance in science before. Present day technologies could be used to easily wipe most of the living creatures out of the face of the earth. In addition, our modern way of living is not environmentally friendly; during the last 100 years we exterminated many species and our impact on global weather is causing a disruptions of equilibrium in many biomes. Modernity is permanently claiming more and more natural spaces, therefore limiting non renewable resources at a firm pace and at a worldwide scale. Today's world's population reaches 6.6.billions, almost duplicating the global population back in 1960.

Moreover, the already existing large breach of social inequalities continues to build up even in the so called first world countries and our legitimately elected politicians are being controlled by private economic pools. Can we find a way to revert our damage and restore overall equilibrium before it is too late? Even if a major cataclysm of any kind hits the whole world, life has always probed to prevail, so it could be our chance for a new beginning.
PS: About UFOs. Extraterrestrials have been coverd up by governments for a long time. It's hard not to know anyone who has actually seen a spaceship out there nowadays. They cannot intervene with the natural course of our evolution, unless serious threat of extinction. They have been working behind the scene towards a better world for ages.

OK. I have been for some time now receiving "information" in the way of precognitive dreams and astral projections and physiological sensations that the year 2012 is most definitely a major pivoting point in the evolution of mankind and its culture. Iknow that a great and wounderous change is going to occur and every living being on this planet will experience it simultaneously. Not all of human kind will see this as a good thing; especially the wealthy and powerful for they WILL loose all of their power and wealth. I however do not know the exact nature of the change.. I am supposed to experience it along with everyone else. As for non earth species.....They are most definitely a solid reality; BUT, they have not been visiting this planet in the flesh---to costly on the body. They do though send in robotic and computerised probe and information gathering craft, hence the ufo's people have reported seeing. Those individuals who have experienced abduction were not taken by actual flesh and blood beings but by robotic or android census takers. The no earth entities are caring for our future because it directly affects their position in the galatic and cosmic communities. We will soon be invited to join those institutions so long as we take their suggestions to heart.

The Mayan/Aztec calendars complete a cycle in 2012. The key word is cycle. The calendar continues to roll. We are coming to the end of a masculine cycle that followed four feminine cycles. Four more feminine cycles will follow. As we reach the end of the masculine, its most extreme forms are being lived out; eg: suicide bombing, Iraq, Afghanistan, Sri Lanka etc & etc. Excessive population is another example of masculinity run riot. Nature is self correcting. Disease, famine, war will bring a check to this population excess. The masculinity we are seeing around us is of the spoilt, angry teenager type, not the mature wise grand father type. Maybe next masculine cycle. The change will come and religious expression of masculine domination will fade or be torn away, I can't be sure which. During the past 2000 years there has been a rise across the planet of male dominated religons. Judeo-Christian-Islamic in the near east and west. Buddhism and Communism in the east.
All these will pass and the world will go on.

hoo boy. alright- about the UFO's, you should read "A Short History About Nearly Everything"
it explains the infeasability of aliens visiting us- they would just simply be too far away-
and- we are nothing but a pimple on the face of the earth- the earth takes care of itself- an unpleasent example being the tsunami-
animals have been going extinct since the beginning of time, well before the dawn of homo sapiens, a good example is, of course, the dinosaurs. not to mention a million others.
by the way, it was the Mayans who predicted 2012.

First of all I'd like to ask...Do you have any proof for these assumptions you are making..I doubt we'd be able to wipe most of the living creatures off the face of the earth. Second I'd like to add that this world is survival of the fittest, pretty soon the animals might be able to adapt to their new surround environments. NOt only are the species leaving but there are more coming to take its place..the technology isn't hurting us. Its helping us..With out this technology we won't be able to figure out newer ways to make life better on this planet. we won't be able to make improvements in how we treat this world. I disagree with everything your saying yet I accept every word. What you say might be true, but theres newer and better things coming our way.

The end is definitely near. It's a wonder the Lord has not returned already. The Bible says that no man knows what the time or the day of the return of Christ will be but be assured that it is coming. All I can say is, you had better get right with God because THAT day is going to be too late to say "I'm sorry."

I think you are asking the wrong group. Christianity really doesn't care about these issues they worry about other petty things.
