Illegal drugs is too big a business for it to be wiped out.It just has to look like there is a war against drugs for the sake of the moral majority..There are kick backs likely going on from law enforcement all the way up the chain and as controversial as it is legalizing drugs seems like is the only way to deglamorise them part of the thrill or the high starts before the person snorts shoots whatever?take out that equasion, its a start.I must have missed the war on obesity,,bummer.

Beg to differ. In the early years drugs were sold over the counter. Weren't considered a problem back then. In some cases our own government, God bless em, passed out the dope to blacks to start problems. Go further back in history and you will see drugs have been around alot longer than you think and have been causing problems every since.

Legalize marijuana. If it were legal, the use of all other drugs would go down immensely, as would the crime rate. Jobs would go up, because we wouldn't have to worry about drug testing.
The economy would rise sharply because of this increase in jobs. Depression would go down. Less folks in emergency rooms. Etc, etc.. THINK ABOUT IT.

I don't think it can. When one cartel is taken down, another pops up bigger and stronger. Just like weeds.
