i heard that it helps your hair to do this: after your shower, put conditioner in your hair, and then leave it in. does that really work, or should i continue using it regular in the shower?

I have personally never tried it but it would probably work. It will leave the conditioner residue in yout hair which may get pretty greasy. If you like the idea of leaving conditioner in your hair I would suggest that you try a leave-on coditioner which is meant for that sort of thing and you put it on after you shower.

If you have very frizzy or fried hair I would suggest you try Suave coconut conditioner, it works miracles for me. I use it in the shower and rinse it off in there to.

You can't just put on regular conditioner after you shower.. that is for in-shower use only! You have to buy a leave in conditioner...it is especially designed for after the shower, so no, it doesn't look greasy if you use the right amount.

You should always condition your hair on the shower and if you still notice dryness, specially in the winter, then you need a deep conditioner which you can purchase at your local salon or beauty supply. Use it once or twice a week only. A leave-in type also helps but a deep conditioner is better. Ask you stylist.

You don't leave conditioner that you apply in the shower on your hair. I never heard of such a thing. You rinse it out after it's been on a minute or two. The kind you leave in is usually a spray or mousse type product that you put on after you're out of the shower & you have towel drid your hair.

I haven't tried it, but that is said to work.
What I do is I shampoo, and condition. I leave the conditioner in while I shave my legs. That way it stays in for a little while, saves time too.

Leaving in the conditioner is said to make your hair less damaged and better.

I'm not sure, but only put conditioner on the tips of your hair and stay away from your scalp.
