This should not be too hard to find out. I couldn't tell from the details you provide, but you should have some idea of which department she works for. Use the local yellow pages and call the department directly. When you call do not use her name until you have made contact with at least a department manager. Do not identify her name until you know who you are speaking with and what that person's role is.
Once you have reached the appropriate person relay your story to them in as much detail as you can provide. Do your best to remain professional and calm (it's always best to present a good attitude when filing a complaint, people are far more receptive, plus you don't want to lower yourself to her level!) Regardless of what her reason was for being there, she should act in a professional manner and what you described goes way beyond that. If it is possible for you to do, put your complaint in writing and hand deliver it, but remember to keep your composure and act professionally
Your specific complaint may not carry much weight but it's a safe bet that if the person treated you this way, she has treated other people in a similar manner. Hopefully they have picked up the phone and lodged complaints as well. Good luck.

First call the agency and ask to speak to the supervisor for this lady. If you do not feel that that has helped, then speak to the director of the local agency and from there, whoever is over the wider agency.
I worked as a social worker for a state agency and while there may be something that needs to be addressed with your family, there is no excuse for anyone to be rude.
But try calling the locals first, because if you call like the main state agency or the higher ups, all they are going to do is call the local agency and tell them to respond if you haven't already tried that route.

This is weird. Did she show you credentials? How early in the morning? Since you don't know who to complain to, I'm guessing she didn't even tell you who she was with. Therefore, I'm betting she is NOT a social worker. Call the police the next time she shows up and don't even answer the door. She'll get an interesting surprise.

Why not just call the local dept of social services office and ask to speak to a supervisor? Thats more likely to work than the chance that he/she is hanging out on here waiting for you to write...

Firstly, you shouldn't have put her name and phone number out like that as you could face some kind of liability situation if she is called and harassed. You say your parents witnessed the event, so it is up to them to make the complaint. It could end up your word against hers, so tread lightly. Suggestion, edit your question and remove her name and phone number ASAP.

Talk to the head of the agency she represents.
However, giving out her phone number is not a good thing to do.

wow thats crazy. You need to call the local department she works for and ask to speak to her supervisor. Please don't stop until you get the satisfaction you deserve. That was amazingly rude. I'm sorry I couldn't help you that much. Good luck -Id be sooooo pissed!
Not surprised that she (in LA) would treat you like that.

Your parent would need to concur that this woman's behavior was "out of line," then(and only then) could you possibly have a case. Then do what many of the others have told you.

Yeah. I would've found out who sent her. I agree with the dude who asked why are (tax payers) providing you and/or your sister with a social worker in the first place?

Go to (at least phone) the agency that sent her. Threaten to take them to court, if necessary. That woman was definitely out-of-line in her actions and rage.
