religious freedom is not *christian only* People came here to escape persecution from christian fundamentalists, only for it to happen here. why wont people learn that america was not and is not a christian only nation but a pluralistic society?

Nation under God was a mccartney thing. that was added in the 1950s out of fear of communism.

They do it for the same reason that PETA and people think they can go around telling other what to not to eat and not to wear.

First of all why is it so hard for people to accept that this nation WAS built on judeo christian beliefs...dont you find it amazing that we were the BEST country on Earth when we were a nation of God, and now we suck! I do! And religious freedom extends to all...but why is it that everyone just seems to pick on christians...isnt it funny that no one ever bashes hinduism...or other religions....I do! Why is it that you are looked down upon and called a a psycho if you express your christian beliefs, but just faithful and devout if you express your other religious beliefs...why is it that everyone hates Jesus and not Buddah....can you answer me that! So when you say religious freedom...id like to know where mine is! Not that I care if I have it...i'll do what I want.

This is the Nation under God, it also says you have a right to your own faith. There are so many nation out their that are not UNDER GOD, and you see they are not all a place most American would want to live in. God is how American did so good in all the Wars. You also see how America is going down hill since we are removing God from out Nation..
All I ask it to keep a open mind to what I said and look back the last 50 years as we took God out of American, and see how we Americans are going under...

An evil spirit is trying to take control of this nation. He is working through many people some who think they are doings Gods will. It is the same spirit that controls the church of Rome who ruled the world for over a thousand years.

Stereotyping has become all too common on this site. I know for a fact that you do not know every Christian in the United States. There are many religions in this country--I respect the beliefs of all--doesn't seem that you do.
