Does a larger following establish a more credible belief?

Well, the Bible is a book of faith, "Origin of Species" is a science book. So when I want to enrich my faith, I go to the Bible. When I want to understand evolution, I read, well, something more current than Darwin, but you get my point...

Which has the larger following? In the US, most people believe in both. In the world, most people believe in the "Origin of the Species." And all the plants and animals and fungi and single-celled organisms ARE the "Origin of the Species."

Bad comparison. You're putting people's belief against Scientific facts and theory, which only antagonize them further against these facts.

I would also need to ask you what brand of credibility are we talking about here? Historical credibility? Scientific Credibility? Spiritual Credibility?

Need more info.

As science, "Origin of Species" of course.

The bible called bats fowl and said that rabbits chewed their cud.
It's clear that the "Origin" is based on observation and somewhat rational thought.
