Hands are better for job, as they are closer to the head with eyes. If we would use legs to take instruments and we walk on our hands, priorities were clearly different - if to consider position of he head and that place in between legs.

Cos our centre of gravity is near our naval which is closer to our feet. So by walking on our feet, we are more stable.
Of course walking on all fours would be even more stable, but our body make-up; ie. the proportion of our arms to our legs are not equal and our eyes and neck are such that they are more comfortable parallel to the spine and not bent backwards, so it may actually be harder trying to walk on all fours and see where we're going.

Think about what happens when all the blood rushes to your head. You get dizzy, you start seeing stars, might even lose your vision. That's what would happen if we walked on our hands.
But we walk on our feet. And what happens when the blood rushes downwards while we're on our feet? We get horny and make babies. Nuff said.

because we're designed to. the other way around would stress the bones, joints and tendons and fatigue the muscles. Plus it would be difficult because our center of gravity is based on upright locomotion via out feet.

It's the bipedal theory that says that animals who can free their upper limbs for manipulation will progress beyond grubbing with a snout.
Look at humans, we have eveolved to atomic bombs, religion and societies that make us all wish for... simpler times ;)

because our hands and arms are not designed to take our body weight in that way
if our hands could take the weight then they would not be as flexible as they are and we could accomplish less and less
