Physically, sexually, romantically? Like, do you try to act all natural and/or treat them the way you'd treat any other stranger, friend, associate? I was a little surprised at this idea from a song lyric on the radio.

It may be much more common than you might think. I used to think that nobody liked me, because I was taught that all teasing was nasty. So I often concealed my reactions and interest. And other people have been cruelly hurt in different ways. So, yes, many people hide their feelings, and some never recover the ability to express their feelings in a socially acceptable way.

Yes I do that all the time. It seems to be a wise strategy.
What a pity I cannot always follow it!
We should not scare people away with our reactions. Every feeling and reaction needs some space or special environment where it can be expressed in its best form and maybe also make a difference. Otherwise, why to betray yourself?
One should be patient and have some style, after all... or not?

"TRUE immediate reaction" Being spontaneous is good. You should also use wisdom. Maturity, and appropriate and respect yourself and others. The song is just a song...just look around you...how do you want people to think of you?

My guess is that most guys have an immediate attraction to about a dozen or so girls each day.
So, YES, we hide it. We can't afford to hit on that many girls each day.

I try like hell but it never works. My eyes are a dead giveaway. Plus I cry real easily and I have lots of reasons to cry, so it's hard to control the tears sometimes.......

Yeah, maybe like when I'm DATING SOMEONE ELSE? I'd still want to be friends. It's fun to have hot friends, especially when you break up- it gives you more options.
