My name is Corinne. Now I saw on the internet that Corinne is French for Corinna. I know that Corinne is Greek. So is Corinne really French for Corinna?

I think some names share a common version across countries. I have a Lebanese friend name Corinne as well. She said her name is French-origin. I also know a social worker name Corinne, and she said her name came from her grandmother which is Brazillian, and said that Corinne is a Brazillian name.
