My vet told me that the cheaper dog foods don't have as much of the right kind of nutrients in them, so the dogs will poop in much larger quantities because their bodies aren't using all of the crap that they're eating.
When we began buying better quality dog food, the yard work became much easier to deal with.

Here's a way to figure it out:
How much do you weigh?
How much does the bulldog weigh?
How much poop do YOU excrete in a day?
Multiply the amount of poop you excrete in a day x the ratio of the bulldog's weight to your's and there's your answer....well, a pretty good estimate, anyway.
Example: you weigh 180 lbs
bulldog 30 lbs
ratio of bulldog to you: 1/3
your daily poop: 6 oz.
calc: 6 oz. x 1/3 = 2 oz.
Therefore, a bulldog must poop 2 oz/day.
P.S. I sincerely hope this information contributes to advances in the scientific community =)

Too many variables to know the answer, for example:
Does the dog have access to the tootsie roll sandbox (cat box)? If he eats another animals poop (some dogs do ya know) then you have to average in that animals poop poundage too!
Does the dog eat dry or canned food?
Does it get table scraps?
You see what I mean? Too many variables...

I have 2 french bull dogs they go first thing in the morning when i let them out and again in the late afternoon. I feed them free choice(food out all the time-except thru nite) high grade high protein food made by my local mill. They use fresh meat scrapes from local butcher shop to make their dog food. Very healthy for them.

Depends on what and how much they eat. If it is a high quality dog food, like IAMS, and you go by the feeding guidelines, then you it won't be as much as feed them a low cost, cheap brand, like Ol Roy!

Depends on how much you feed the dog, the quality of food, the amount of exercise it gets, and its overall health.

if you feed your dog a premium brand of dry dog food, their stool volume will be less. don't feed your dog cheap dog food. they'll put out like a play doh factory in over drive.
