I've ask out this gurl about 1 month 1/2 ago n we still goin out but i've only been on 1 date with her n harly ever talk on the phone maybe once a week but shes black n i am white n her parents are racist so i can't even call there house the only way we really talk is through e-mail so basically am i wasting my time?

i commend you for loving for Love's sake. you should both read Romeo and Juliet....tragic tale of woe.
life is hard enough without the other family hating you just for being yourself.
if you do it you'd better win over her parents, have you talked to them face to face?
perhaps when you are both older and they see that you have proven yourself they will trust you with their daughter, but don't bet on it.
that is a very tough row to hoe.

How old are you? If you are younger and her parents are like this than it's not going to get better. Her parents are going to find a way to control this aspect of her life. Why do you want to be with her in the first place if you barely talk? What's so great about her that you can't find in someone else who's parents are accepting of the fact that your skin is a different color. A month and a half isn't a long time to be in a relationship and if you're already having problems like this and already thinking about breaking up then it's probably not going to get better it's just going to get worse and do you really want to deal with that???

I think that if you two really care for each other and want to be together that is all that really matters. Racism is a part of everyday life and if she is worth being with then you'll find a way to deal with it.

First off what makes you think her family is racist need more detail to give a good answer. How old is she?Do you work maybe they just want what's best for her and they don't think it's you.
