Let me list a few. Questioning God's existence because you have a brain and can think. Cussing and taking the lord's name in vain. Having lust in one's heart, especially for a teenager with raging hormones. Admiring your neighbor's nice big house, his boat or even his sexy wife who keeps mowing the lawn in a bikini. Not respecting your father who is a deadbeat dad or your mom who beats you senseless. Working on Sunday because you want to keep your job. Drawing little pictures of what you think God or heaven looks like. Telling a little white lie so that you don't hurt someone's feelings, like when they ask "do you like my haircut?". Stealing a loaf of bread from a rich man to feed your starving child.

That's all I can think of now but I know there are a bunch more sins we could all commit.

God is a sadist so he needs to make lots of people commit sin so that he can enjoy torturing them for all eternity.

Yes, sins are things that are well ingrained in our society and into our daily lives. But I have to say your outlook is clouded. I don't mean to chastise you, but you sense that these things are impossible to refrain from. I did too at one point. I am not perfect. I still committ these sins.

But I know I don't have to and it is well within my grasp to not sin. And I sin less since I started believing this. I used to think every guy masterbated and there isn't anything wrong with me doing it. But there is. And once I stopped it was the easiest thing to refrain.

If you indulge in sin then you will have the judgement that sin must be a part of your existance and you being to believe it is just not that bad. You tend to think it would be impossible and even odd to not indulge here and there. But these are lies. In this situation one is being controlled by their sin not vice versa.

Once you try to refrain from sin, it will no longer be your master. THAT is precisely why Christian after Christian keeps saying the same old annoying adage that Christ will set you free. It is because you realize, "Hey I don't have to sin. There is actually a way not to sin that I never realized before."

Not until your get perspective which comes from the gift of grace from Jesus will you ever be able to understand that sin is damaging to you and others and you don't have to do it. They actually become HARD to do. You are so against sin that it is a struggle to commit yourself to it.

Sin is extremely easy to do, but God did not purposefully make it easy. In fact God made a way out. We are the ones that make sinning easy. When Adam ate the fruit in the garden that God had forbidden it opened a door for Satan to come in and tempt us. Satan is the one that whispers thoughts in our heads making us lust, lie, covet, and so on. However, it is our job to resist these temptations. Now, yes I know it is almost impossible to do that, but that is why God gave us a way out. He sent Jesus, his son who was without sin, to die on the cross for our sins. When Jesus made that ultimate sacrifice it gave us a little escape. All we have to do now is ask God for forgiveness and he erases our sins away. Now that doesn't mean we will never sin again, but that's what makes it so cool! We can sin over and over again and God will still forgive us. It says in (1 John 1:9)
If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

There is a catch however, you have to sincerely mean it in your heart when you ask for forgiveness and you have to believe in the sacrifice Jesus made for you and for us all. So, to wrap it all up it is not God who makes it easy to sin it is our sinful nature that does it. God is the one that makes an escape for us from the punishment of sin which is eternity in hell away from God. So instead of blaming him I think we should thank him, because without Jesus's sacrifice, all of us would have to suffer that awful punishment.

Sorry if I made it kind of a sermon, but it is a really heavy topic. Truth be told, I probably could have wrote a lot more. If you have any questions about anything I would be happy to explain or answer, but it is really up to you to decide what your stance is. I could talk till I was blue in the face, but if you didn't want to hear it than it would do no good. I hope you find your answer be it from me or someone else. God bless.

First of all, to your first example, thinking and questioning is not a sin. God wants us to KNOW he is real, not just follow blindly some tradition. By all means keep searching and seeking and may your search lead you into His loving arms!

Now back to the actual question - God's law is meant to help us, not to be a burden to us and He is much more interested in our hearts and motives than our outward deeds. Part of the function of the law however, is to show us that we CAN'T do it on our own, and so we need God

obviously you believe there is a creator or you would not even be thinking about this very real issue.there is a powerful ememy at work telling lies. he is the father of lies the one that told the first one he is still misleading anyone he can. your heavenly father the father of our lord jesus christ loves us and wants only good things for us, so he has given us guidlines to live by. so what if you can't be perfect. he doesn't expect that from any of us. all we have to do is fight the good fight against the unseen spirit creatures that work for satan our enemy and the fathers enemy and love one another the best we can. Jehovah is truth and love but he is also very fierce and he loves his children. pray to him in the name of jesus for understanding and knowledge and he will reveal his will and love to you.

God gave us free will and we all sin each day whether we actually realize it or not. None of us were created perfect so it is impossible to get to heaven just by being sinless. We sin with words, deeds, thoughts and feelings.

Because God gave us free will...we can choose to do what we feel is right or wrong, regardless of whether it is congruent with what God would like us to do. He gave us free will because He wants us to choose to follow Him, rather than just being forced to.
