Because they don't only throw temper tantrums, they can now talk back! Whoever said that it is the terrible 2's and terrific 3's, didn't have a 3 year old. I have 2 boys: one just turned 4 and the other is going to be 3 in Aug. 20 months apart. I didn't know anything was going to be so hard. I also have a 12 yr. and a 7 year old--talk about difficult. Just wait!!!

They are annoying because they are young I have a 3 year old cousin & he is very annoying but the bright side is I can convince him to do just about anything I want sometimes which makes him less of a pain to be around

Because of this:
1. The are no longer cute
2. They whine
3. The still pee and crap everywhere
4. They talk like idiots
5. They smell like a sewer
6. You want to beat them with hangers
7. Need too much attention
8. Can't swim without those arm floaties
9. 3 years of screaming at night
10. Wish you used a rubber

3 year olds are learning about this huge world and what their place in it is.
Don't stomp on their spirit, get a nanny and a massage. Take care of yourself so you can take care of your 3 year old. Cherish this time, it is the only time they are going to be three. Wait until they turn 15, you may wish they were 3 again.

3 year olds are little people fighting for their autonomy in a land of giants that constantly say "No!" I have lived through 3 different versions of the "Thrilling Three's" and looking back, I can smile and even chuckle. Hang in there.

hopefully you are not a parent because if you were I feel sorry for your kids. at 3 years old they have a limited vocabulary but want to talk about everything and I mean everything. my 3 gives guided tours around the house to everyone, even my wife and I, who comes in to our house. "Phone, Couch, Potty, etc..." Everything he knows the name of He will try to show you. It is not annoying he is learning to express himself in a positive way and learning about the world around him. so if anything I praise this behavior.

THat is the age where kids began to start understanding things, they become curious, they start to express themselves and ask many questions.
Children are wonderful and require a lot of patience and understanding. They require a lot of positive enforcement as well as proper discipline.

They are new to our vast world, and they cannot comprehend that the world extends far, far beyond them, infact they really do believe it`s all about them, and if they are not taught early on to learn self control, they will grow up inmature continuing to believe it`s all about them, isn`t that so annoying ?
