Just be yourself. Don't talk smack about others because it will get you in a bad situation. I just graduated from junior high and I can honestly say it was some of the best years of my life. Stay friends with the people you're friends now, don't abandon them just because you want to get popular. Trust me that's not the answer. The popular friends you try to go for will only be fake to you and your throwing away a friend that might be the one that was true all along. Don't get caught up on boys, they only make matters worst. Just because all your friends are getting boyfriends doesn't mean you should too. Being single can be fun, you don't have to be stuck on one guy and have him be jealous everytime he sees you talking to another guy. There will be a lot of drama but it will only get you ready for the drama in high school. Live it up and have fun. It'll only happen once. Good luck =)

I'm going to 10th grade, and when i started junior high i wuz just myself..and i made great friends and did really good. On the clothes issue find something that you are comfortable in and think others will like. Also on the hair idea they have shampoos that can make it curly if ur hair is straight like mine, and also they got straightners for if its to curly. I dont know about you but i loved having my hair all braided and so did alot of other people. Hope the advice helps!

Be outgoing. Talk to other people, be happy. Don't get mad for stupid reasons, your friends will find you immature and stop trusting you. Oh and start shaving if you haven't already

And if you're talking about hair...
Maybe change your look.
Try more funky hairstyles, experiment.

Don't get caught up in the pressure, don't worry, you'll get used to it. Just ignore all the rumors and bad parts of going to Jr. High.

well. if you are talking about hair.. just do whatever you want to. if you have naturally straight hair..then just comb it and maybe wear up sometimes. and sometimes people with naturally straight hair can curl it. but.. if you have naturally curly hair. if it is frizzy i would try taking a shower every morning and while its still damp put mousse in it.. and maybe put it half way up. or you can try and straighten it or just leave it naturally curly.. you don't need to look too old if your only in 6th grade. try to look like a 6th grader .. not a 10th grader.. a lot of girls at my school have problems with that. .but hopefully that will work for you.. peacout!

Buy: Low cut jeans, thongs, revealing tops.
Lower your moral standards.
Open your mind.

...I'm just kidding. It's just the same as every other step in your life: Just take it as it comes and deal with it on a whim, there's no need to plan your life out and prepare for the inevitable.

I am going to be a freshman. The best I can tell you is that you have to just be confident. It seems scary but it really isn't. Of course, you just have to be confident and responsible. Good Luck!!
