can it effect you health in Any kind of way? I kno about the HIV from non sterilized needles, but anyothers... even if it's taken care of properly???

personally i wouldn't get it cause it causes teeth decay and that it can setup infection and now they have it that you can buy a fake one if you look up fake tongue piercing so look further in to it

Anything can happen when a foreign object enters the body. You never know what your body can tolerate and what it can't. It's kind of a crap shoot. Remember this, if you get a bad enough infection, it (your tongue) will have to be removed or at least part of it. You will have difficulties eating, talking, and your sense of taste will change some or completely. It's rare, but still a possibility.

I suggest you shouldn't pierce your tongue. I've seen some people growing another tongue on the news and I find that really disgusting.
