Use their hand prints(I used this one for my daughter)"Sometimes you get discouraged because I am so small And always leave my fingerprints on furniture and walls. But every day I'm growing-I'll be grown some day and all those tiny handprints will surely fade away.So here's a little handprint just so you can recall exactly how my fingers looked when I was very small.(I traced her hand prints and then put then poem on top of it and put it in a picture fame with a picture of her.)

Here is a poem for a lilttle boy:"Walk a little slower daddy, said a child so small.I'm following in your footsteps and I dont want to fall,Sometimes your steps are very fast,Sometimes they"re hard to see,So walk a little slower, daddy,For,you are leading me.Someday when I'm all grownup,You're what I want to be;Then I will have a little child Who'll want to follow me.And I would want to lead just right,And know that I was true; So,walk a little slower,Daddy,For I MUST FOLLOW YOU.(I would put their footprints and then a picture)

Hope this helps you.

When my daughter was about that age she brought home the cutest gift ever. It was a stick and it has a string on it to look like fishing line w/a big construction paper hook and bobber on the bottom of the string. On the stick part where the reel and all that would be was her picture and a construction paper heart w/a little poem on it. My husband loved it. She's 8 now and I think we still have that thing somewhere!

I was thinking mabey go to disneychannel.com and find cards there. Mabey http://familycrafts.about.com/od/fathersdaycrafts/a/fathersdaymn.htm
Mabey try they and let me know what u think. mabey get the kids to draw a card its what you draw what counts. buying things arent that special from a kid, let them make a card and anything around the house like buttons if ur a sew er, noodles, paint, string, markers, consrucsion paper, mabey some pictures off the internet if there dad is a fisher man, some fishies, if there dad is a hunter, some deer, if there dad is a golfer, then some golf balls on there card. theres lots of things to do.

i'm 16 and i remember when i was little, about 10 or so, my older sister would be me and my little sister who is now 12, to make my dad a banner from paper taped together that said happy fathers day and we decorated it. then we hung it up in the kitchen before he woke up. ever since then .. it became a tradition well.. only for me that is haha. and each time .. it gets better or i think it does. it might be a waste of paper but its nice to see a surprise. one time what i did for mothers day was tape a time line of pictures of my sisters and brother on there at the bottom .. from baby, to child, to present. hope this idea helps x]

like a hunt for the prestents that the kids r giving to their dads u give the dad the first note and then he has to go find out where the note is talking about and then he will find another note to another palce and so on and so forth untill u get to the last present (usualy the biggest). and insted of just leaving notes every where u can put gifs with the note. i love doing it with my dad and my sibbilings and so does he. try it

Yep...have the kids write Dear Dad letters. Have them remind Dad of the BEST time they ever had with him...and why it was so special. Want to bet they have lots more??
