I'd just call the vet. But don't feel bad if you don't walk them if they're 10 weeks old. 10 week old puppies will get exhausted without walking too far and over working them for large breeds can hurt their bone development. The MOST important vaccine for your pup to get is the Parvo vaccine, Parvo is the most common virus, it's everywhere and can kill your pup in days.

The theory behind giving pups a series of shots is this:
Mom's milk gives them immunity. They do not know when this immunity wears off. If mom's immunity is still good, then the shot was a waste of time and money. The vets are hoping to catch the time when the immunity from mom wears off. They do know it is somewhere between 12 & 16 weeks, but if mom quits nursing early, then the immunity wears off early. I recently read that mom's immunity could last as long as 20 weeks, but this is still being studied. I would suggest that you read the American Animal Hospital Association's 2006 recommendations for vaccines.

Also read the footnotes after the vaccines.

Your pups should have a 2nd vaccination 2 weeks after the 1st is given, then they can go for walks a week after that. By then they will be fully immunised against all the diseases such as parvovirus (fatal and we have had cases in Swindon recently) and leptospirosis - another potentially fatal condition.

you really have to wait until there next vaccination if you have a garden that no other animals have been using you can let the pup out there to run about you should also remember to let a pup sleep it is good for them they are just like babys if you keep lifting them or waking them they get tired and sore

You do not want to walk the pup on the ground until it has its full shots. You should be okay to let your puppies walk around after your second shot in July, but not before then. I have had dogs get parvo, and i will not let them on the ground until they are fully protected.

You should check with your vet but I would wait until they are a little older. Dogs who are under a year (and even up to 2 years) can get Parvo. Dogs who have had Parvo and survived can still shed the virus to other dogs.

You need to keep your puppy close to home until they have their shots every three weeks until they are 16 weeks old, starting at 6 weeks.
