She'll be fine. Better if it was uncooked than cooked. In the wild dogs would eat chickens bones and all. That's why they have such a short digestive tract. They're not meant to eat cooked meat. As for chicken bones being bad for them it's only when they are cooked because the bone becomes brittle and will splinter. If it's raw then there's no problem.

Bet she love the h out of you, bones are safe for all mature dogs. the big deal is with rib bones on a chicken, if your not sure how your dog chews them up then avoid them but all other bones your dog will love you for. You did say a slice of meat So why are bones even an issue, if thats what your worried about.,,,,,,,,,,,,,lunch meat? and your worried because she wont leave your side right? ????? want anouther dog? Im hungry.

Your dog can eat chicken but don't give them the bones they can choke! Here are some good ideas to keep in mind?
Good foods........ meat, veggies, fruits. raw fresh diet is great. bad for dogs .......... Grapes and Raisins: Grapes and raisins can cause kidney failure in dogs. As little as a single serving of raisins can kill a dog
Onions: Onions destroy red blood cells and can cause anemia.
Chocolate: Chocolate can cause seizures, coma and death. Baker’s chocolate is the most dangerous. A dog can consume milk chocolate and appear to be fine because it is not as concentrated, but it is still dangerous.
Coffee, Coffee grounds, tea and tea bags: Drinks/foods containing caffeine cause many of the same symptoms chocolate causes
Macadamia Nuts: Macadamia nuts can cause weakness, muscle tremor and paralysis.
Animal fat and fried foods: Excessive fat can cause pancreatitis. Avocados: The fruit, pit and plant are all toxic. They can cause difficulty breathing and fluid accumulation in the chest, abdomen and heart.

uh...what do you mean...is the dog choking or what...is the chicken piece going to grow into a new chicken and peck the hell out of the insides of your dog...duh it will be ok...one time i gave my dog a fircracker (accidentally) i lit the firework the size of about a piece of a pencil 1 inch, threw it about 20 feet, he had it in his mouth when it blew up...he never chased thrown objects again...i wonder why...(he wasn't hurt at all)DO YOU THINK MY DOG WILL BE OK?

Yes. It is very normal for dogs to eat chiken, beef, and all the vegitables they can get from the wild. Just as long as it is cooked and has no bones.

Yes. She'll be fine. They can also eat bones (including chicken and certain kinds of fish [Sardines and Mackerel]) as long as they are uncooked.

I took my shin tzu to pk school and thats how the teacher rewarded the puppy's for doing a good job. I always reward mine with a piece of chix or turkey and mozz. cheese strings. He's a good boy.
