It's no longer there when I go to Add/Remove Programs since I removed it, but it's still on my desktop and still on my list of programs when I go to the start menu. Could it be only partially uninstalled? And if so, what else do I need to do to completely uninstall it? I have no use for this program.

Why would you want to get rid of Firefox? it is 1000 times better than Internet Explorer; no pop-ups.

Here's how you uninstall Mozilla Firefox completely: 1)Uninstall firefox from the add/remove control panel (Start-> Run and type 'appwiz.cpl' (without quotes) or 'control appwiz.cpl' if you're in win9x and hit OK. Select mozilla firefox from the list and hit remove. 2)Now delete the Mozilla Firefox folder from 'program files' (Assuming firefox is installed in C:\program files, Go to that path and delete the entire Mozilla firefox folder. 3)Now remove the firefox folder from : start-> run-> type in %appdata% and hit OK (this will open the application data folder)->Mozilla. Delete the Firefox folder in the Mozilla directory. If you use only the Firefox 'product' of Mozilla, then its ok to delete the Mozilla folder itself.

Can't really understand WHY you would want rid of Firefox as it has more ratings in many ways to other browsers, especially Internet Explorer!
If it is still there in add-remove programs, try removing again.

Click Start, then Search - and select All files and folders...in the top field (all or part of the file name) type FIREFOX.EXE and then click Search button.
If the Search finds anything relating to Firefox or Mozilla - then it may still be installed. You can select these files and delete them, but entries will still be in your Registry relating to these files.
Use a Registry Cleaner to clear this. You can download a free Registry Cleaner (there are many decent ones) from here:

Run uninstall again. If it errors out its already removed, if it does not you had more than one version of Firefox installed. Then reboot the computer, it should be gone, repeat these steps if it is necessary to remove all the versions

If you used the add/remove programs then you can probably just delete it from your desktop and start menu. Windows is stupid that way. By the way I hope you didn't decide to delet it in favor of sticking with the ultra buggy easy to hack internet explorer...
