loaded question.

My opinion: as things stand now, we have to stay there at least until the Iraq government is strong enough to protect the Iraqi people from the terrorists. if we pull out to soon
1) all the effort and lost life's will have been for nothing.
2) the new Iraq government will be overthrown and replaced with another mad-man, and at some point within the next 10 years, we will have to be back over there and another war will be going on.

Now that its started, it needs to finish.

I think green tech will 'win' faster than any number of bullets you could ever make. The sooner america becomes energy-independent, the sooner the world will adapt to that. Get yourself a good pair of walkin' shoes and Vote With Your Feet...I've saved over 18 grand by not driving the last few years. Amazing what you can do with a little bit of 'no'....

both activities. The Democrats and Republicans do not pick US troops in Iraq. that is only a remember of timing. Democrats pick quicker and Republicans pick later. My prediction is that Bush receives his troop "surge" and someplace contained in the autumn of 2007 to early 2008 we are able to work out a shrink contained in the violence. Bush and Republican breathren who supported his "surge" will tell the yankee public, "I instructed you so" in attempt to shelter Republican presidency. once the U. S. troops depart Iraq, inspite of which Democrat or Republican timetable is locate, Iran will income more effective impression in Iraq until eventually Iraq and Iran develop into "good" associates. At this element, the conservative non secular wing of Islam in the Shi'a muslims will take more effective administration until eventually Iraq's authorities starts off to duplicate that of Iran.

I think that anyone who doesn't understand why we are there needs a severe history lesson and I sure as hell hope they aren't registered voters. Get a clue and then make an INFORMED decision. Not one you hear from the liberal media. Think for yourself. If it wasn't for the military, we wouldn't be a free country today. You should get on your hands and knees thanking them for your freedom and SECURITY. Why do you think you can walk around today without a care.

Yes I do but that's because we weren't prepared when we went in. We didn't go in with enough troops and get rid of jihad johnny right off the bat. Now we are stuck unless you believe that we should just let the Iraqi's fend for themselves.
