Snorkel in Hanauma Bay just outside of Honolulu, Oahu. Loads of beautiful tropical fish, beautiful crystal waters, & very helpful lifeguards. Watch out for sunburn -- mine is still apparent on my back after more than two years!

I've only been to Oahu. If you're into history go to the Arizona Memorial. That is very powerful, from the bombing of Pearl Harbor in World War II. Actually, it's great even if you're not into history. Also, on Wai Ki Ki beach, there is a submarine that goes down and views the sea life. My daughter is claustrophobic but once she walked down into this very spacious submarine she was fine. It's worth the trip. Walk to the top fo Diamond Head. for a phenomenal view of Honolulu. And there is a look out on the Palo Highway that you should not miss. You should also go to the palace on Oahu. I can't remember the name but it is billed as the only royal residence in the United States. In general, just driving along the highways you will see fantastic views and you will wonder how the ocean can be so blue/green and the mountains so beautiful. Aloha!

It depends on the island- but my favorite is Molokai. Not many tourists travel to this island, so it's never crowded. It's truly a place you can lose yourself in their sunsets and relax!
There is a great 7 mile long beach on one end of the island. And also a great kite factory to visit with kids too. House rentals are easy to find for this island if traveling with family. Or condos are the second best bet. Not many hotels can be found on this island because there aren't as many tourists.
Also, take a day and do the leper colony, father Damian tour. You can rent a donkey and do the trail down- that's the most memorable way of doing it. GREAT scenery and history.

When I go I wanna go to MAui so I can do the downhill bike ride. If you go to Maui, you gotta do the downhill bike ride. There are different bike companies and some don't take you all the way to the top, and some don't guide you back down. You can come down by yourself, there's only one road with just a little traffic, but if you are squeamish about riding in the street, a company that accompanies you down will help watch the traffic for you.
I have been twice and prefer Maui Downhill to the others. These companies have web sites They will pick you up at your hotel, take you to their shop to pick out a wet-suit (for the cold and mist/rain shower maybe) and gloves and helmet; then take you up the mountain; then follow your group down so they can block traffic for your ride; then afterwards take you back to your hotel. Expect this activity to take 75-80% or more of the day.
Then after that Maui has GREAT beaches.

My most favorite thing to do would be to go on the Navatek 1 Sunset Buffet Dinner Cruise. My most favorite place to go would be to go to the Waikiki Beachcomber Hotel and see the Blue Hawaii Show.

1) Play the 1st round of golf in the morning and play a 2nd round of golf in the afternoon in Ko'Olina, O'ahu.
2) at 7PM, walk across the street to Paradise Cove Luau and plop my lazy *ss down on a lounge chair on the beach (not even bothering with the luau), slip a waiter (or waitress) $40.00 to keep the drinks and puupuu's coming, while I watch the sunset and flirt with the bikini-clad wahines passing by.
3) when the luau is over, head back to my place in Waikiki and get ready to do the same thing all over again tomorrow!!!
...now if I can only figure out how to pull this off during the week days...

Eat at Chuck's steak house in Waikiki above Dukes.. watch the sunset from the balcony (seeking the green flash!), drinking a glass of wine, the tiki fires down below on the sand at the waters edge. Looking into the eyes of my passionate companion knowing what is to come....

Depends on what island you are going. If you are going to Oahu my favorite place would be Manoa Falls. It's a spectacular water fall. Although it's quite a hike, it will be well worth it! Here is a website with information on the location etc. Good luck! http://www.hawaiiweb.com/html/hiking/manoa_falls_trail.html
