I pray to an infinite god, not to Jesus. He was a wonderful guy, but he has been dead for over 2000 years. He was very like the mythic heroes of ancient times. God chose him to be a teacher & a leader. He led by his lifestyle, during a time of great persecution when their leaders were lapdogs of the Romans. There are a lot of theories about this. Look up "Atonement."
