IF you respect your sister's friendship with the friend you should keep your hands off of her and don't think about her anymore. If you tried dating her friend, it will lead to lots of arguments and such between you, your sister, and the friend. You could possibly even ruin their friendship which I don't think you should do because that will make you look very selfish. And this is your sister's friend, you shouldn't even try making any moves on her friends.

If she is at least 18 I say go for it! Since she is 10 years younger, you don't want to be in any legal trouble. I dated a guy that was 9 years older than me when I was 18 and we had a lot of fun. I don't see anything wrong with the age difference. Let your sister know how you feel about her friend. Help her understand why you want to have a relationship with her. Try not to let this ruin your sister's relationship with her friend, though. You don't want to be the cause of that. I hope everything works out well for you, good luck!
