I was born in Sweden, and yet I left at such an early age I never learned Swedish. This makes visits to Sweden sometimes very interesting when I have to explain that despite my birthplace I don't speak the language.

I was born in Italy in an US army hospital. We left when I was 14 months old. Growing up about the only Italian word used in the house was "Andiamo" (let's go).
I didn't learn any real Italian until I was stationed in Italy with the army for 2 years, and it is not fluent or grammatical.

I was born in Canada, but I live here in the US so I don't have any interaction with Frenchies - excepting my mother (who's forgotten most of it!), and my extended family in Canada (who speak mostly English, though they are fluent in French). I do know *some* French; however it is Swiss French that I picked up on a trip to Switzerland years ago, and not "real French" according to Canadians! :)
