just a thought i've always had but it may seem kind of ridiculous to many i assume:

so supose you're at heaven's gate and god tells you that you have to go to hell because you have been extremely bad and now you will suffer in hell.

but doesn't the devil want us to do bad things? wouldn't he thank us for going against god, or is he working for god to punish us?

what do you think on that?

Sister, you have some very confusing ideas.

Sinners end up in Hell because they have turned away from God, not the other way around. They LITERALLY chose to follow Satan (into Hell).

Now, as for my idea of Hell, it would be the opposite of Heaven. If Heaven is where God (the source of all good, love, comfort, joy and happiness is), then Hell would be the absence of God ( good, love, comfort, joy and happiness). Satan doesn't have any of these things to offer, or "reward" his followers with. All you'll get from Satan in the afterlife is what he offers in life -- lies and deceit. And, yes, he DOES want us to "do bad things" so that we turn away from God and have to suffer along with him !

Satan didn't make Hell a place of suffering; he just lives there. A person can spend their whole life helping Satan work evil on Earth, but that won't get them any better treatment when they get to Hell. Satan hates God and EVERYONE on Earth. If he gets hold of someone, he won't ask whether or not they served him in life. He'll devour them like all the rest.

You'd think the Devil would reward us for any bad things we did, we could chalk up some plus points in hell for all the bad stuff we did if the Devil was real but he ain't any more real than God ...so who cares!

The reason Satan punish's us is because God loves us if we are good or evil, so it makes God sad to see his creation in pain. So that is why satan hurts us. God doesnt want us to go to hell, thats why Jesus came, however God also must give justice, so that is why some go to Hell, thier sins arent forgiven and gone.
Satan hurts us to try and hurt God.

Satan, the Devil, has no power to punish anyone. We create our own suffering, and the suffering of those around us, when we rebel against Gods will.

This I believe; http://homelessheart.com/testimony.htm

The devil does not punish you and neither does God. You punish yourself. God loves you, and you must remember that

I think misery loves company and he wants as many of us as he can have. He doesn't want us to follow the Lord. Yeah, he'll thank you by making your eternal life miserable!!!

No. He does his best to draw you into sin then accuses you before the Father. Your only "thanks" will be an eternity of torment apart from God.
