Sister, God is a part of every moment of every day of my life.
Now, I have friends who have different beliefs in God than I do, and we are able to discuss those beliefs. Those who I am closest to act as though they believe the same things that I do, whether we express them the same way, or not.
However, I believe that a serious, long-term relationship must be compatible on all levels. And since God has his spot in the deepest part of my heart and soul, he would have to bless my relationship with someone whom I felt was important to me.
After all, I've found out from long and painful experience that he often DOES know better than I do what's best for me !

It is very important for me. I like to surround myself with people that believe the same as I do. When I date or when I marry it will be the most important thing of all.

In my life he plays none since I am a skeptical. But for the believer it should be essential and if it is not, then faith most no be strong enouhg. Strong faith make a strong human. Being able to have God as the center for your live must be a responsibility that one must fulfill everyday.

intel is cool, but for real, without God, mistakes are bound to happen and you want to save your heart at least from break ups and make ups.

Umm he doesn't. I don't believe in god. God forbids Homosexuality. Why should I have to pray and apalogize every day just for being someone I cant change? That would be like God forbidding someone to be Chinese. WTF?
