I don't think we have a hope of winning. Obviously it would be nice if we did. But let's face it, it is not a sport we are very serious about.

If we don't win I'd like either Germany (my own heritage) or Mexico to win, Mexico because it would make a lot of people I know happy.

Mind you, I don't watch and only hear from time to time if something happened. I understand the US tied 1-1 with some country today. Can't remember which.

that might be one reason, but I'm sure that is not the only reason although that's what they'd say if you asked them.

They don't have a whole lot else to be proud of, poor things

Sashie- sigh, but we did win more Olympic Metals than Mexico and we also whooped Mexico's butt in the Mexican-American War and gained the states they claim we stole (not). We can do it again if you'd like.

the guy in you classification is stupid and would not understand a lot about being Latino. i'm Latino, and that i never evaluate our conflict to the African-American conflict. that's diverse, and replaced into no longer as publisized because the Black conflict. yet I do could say that maximum folk don't understand that both blacks and Latinos (Mexican human beings in theis case) have had their land taken far off from them: Blacks were enslaved and offered to the Americas at the same time as the full western area of america of a (which replaced into then all of Mexico) replaced into signed off the the white guy. They kicked us out of our personal land, and did lynch our human beings in the southwest aswell as interior reach individuals. obviously, African-American Civil Rights circulate had loose ties with the Chicano walkouts, yet each and each has its personal heritage in this usa. both Blacks and Latinos have deep roots in america, yet evaluating both is inaccurate because they don't seem a similar. at the same time as blacks have had human beings calling them inhuman, Latinos had human beings calling them the very similar element. indications like NO canines OR MEXICANS the position printed all the way up until eventually the 1960's. You even stated that you do not a lot about you Latino aspect, properly perchance you may seem it up. it really is not honest to say Blacks had it the worst because how did you understand different racial communities conflict in united statesa.? Asian individuals, Blacks, and Latinos could be friends, because all have lengthy handed by struggles of their heritage in united statesa.. although evaluating the hardships isn't proper and no you'll take your heritage far off from you.

They realize the protest are counter productive. The quieter they are the better for them right now. Its quite possible the hoopla dies down and the house capitulates to the Senate \ Bush proposal that gives them all amnesty. The quieter they are right now the more likely they are to win.

Next stop....social security payments to their parents that didn't even kick in...you watch.
