why is it that i see the number 13 everywhere i go?

i see the number 13 wherever i go, everytime i look at the clock mostly, but i see it everywhere else too. is it just coincidence? is it some sort of supernatural meaning? is it Triskaidekaphobia?

No, it isn't fate or a sign or anything. Mostly, it's that you NOTICE the 13s and don't notice all the other numbers around you. You're looking out for it, but not other numbers. Then there's the nature of randomness, which is much streakier than most people realize. So, you may be encountering 13 more often lately. That's just how randomness works. If you flip a coin a hundred times in a row, most people think you won't get very long runs; but you probably will. You're very likely to get at least 6, or even 8 in a row. Doesn't mean a thing. Neither do all your 13s. Try to notice every number you see for a while; you'll see that most of them are NOT 13.

Hmm, have you had your eyesight checked recently? I think it's common to get a schema into our head and then see everything from that schema. For example, you might see dozens of people in one day wearing blue shirts, and you are wearing a blue shirt yourself so you just keep paying attention to that. I have a tendency to count white cars in a row, just because there are so many vehicles which are white that sometimes a series of four or more just stands out like a cavalcade. I don't see a supernatural meaning in seeing "13" everywhere, but if you are actually seeing it on clocks, that would concern me.

On the clock, it's an illusioin. Every shere else, it's just that everything is that many. Unless a person is superstitious, there is no meaning to it, other than that.

Perhaps you need your eyes checked. There are only twelve numbers on the clock...not thirteen. Except if your looking at a diagonal clock..., then that makes sense.
