I think you mean "what is the Da Vinci code?" If that's what you mean, it's an amazing book that is extremely intriguing. It is on one of the best books I have read in several years, the plot twists are completely unexpected, you know something doesn't fit in the puzzle but you are shocked when the pieces finally fall into place. I have not seen the movie yet and can hardly wait to see how close it stays to the book. This is only my opinion though you'll have to read the book or watch the movie yourself and see what the Da Vinci code is for you. Just bear in mind that it is a very controversial book and movie but it is a work of fiction, something that is hard to remember while reading the book. It is realistic but that is because, as is says at the beginning of the book, the descriptions of the different places the characters visit are completely accurate. You can actually see in your mind these people walking around these different churches and museums both in France and England.

I don't know what "ehat" is.But the Da Vinci Code is a book by Dan Brown that became a movie about a fictional story involving the possibility that Jesus had a wife and that there is a royal blood line and a massive conspiracy to cover it up.

are you asking "what" is the da vinci code? if thats the question, its a book written by Dan Brown a few years ago that presents the possibility of Jesus having been married to Mary Magdelene and how the Church has been covering it up for all these years to supress the sacred feminine. the story is being told through an action like plot involving a professor, a knight, his servant, an albino monk, a french cop, and a cryptographer. its very interesting, i read the book and saw the movie, the book, of course is better.

A book that attempts to wreak trouble on Christianity, really. Many of the facts are arrogantly twisted and taken from writings that are inconsistent with those of real Christian writings (for example, the idea that Jesus had a wife actually came from gnostic writings, which are heretical writings composed about from one hundred to two hundred years after the books of the New Testaments were written, claiming to be written by one of the twelve apostles, which would have been dead by that time). The reason it is a fictional novel is so that Dan Brown could cover his tracks. When they interview him, he says that the facts are "real" and stuff. When addressed on the inconsistencies in his "historical account," Dan Brown has the liberty of saying that it is only fiction. Talk about covering every base.

A fictional novel by Dan Brown that has elements of fiction and misrepresentations to the "factual" arguments it presents and uses a "logical progression" of the "facts" to come to a weird conclusion, that Jesus had a wife and they had kids. It's just a fictional work, but some people try to take it at face value or actually believe it and that is why people have issues with it.

It's a really, really good book and a pretty good movie. However, some of the things in the movie were changed from the book so that made it not as good. The movie would have been better if I hadn't read the book prior.

A book and now a movie that explores some theories about the history of christianity.

Book: More entertaining
Movie: Fairer interpretation of the history of the church. They book does not seperate fact from theory.

Those who just scream "LIES" often have heard something they don't like, and refuse to investigate further. Its far easier to ignore than to research.

A lot of fiction, made up stories written to make a lot of money. Check out what the author says about it, fiction, made up, no truth to it. And yet look at how many are ignorant enough to believe it is truth. Or that there is any truth in it whatever.
