Treat your hair like it's antique lace.

http://www.longhaircommunity.com/ is a GREAT place for hair care advice. (Even if you don't have long hair) I absolutely love it. I'd wait till 6/18/06 though. It's currently closed for an upgrade.

A great recipie I got from there is SMT (Snowy's Moisture Treatment). Mix 1 part Conditioner (Try to use a conditioner that does not have ingredients that end in -cone.) with 1/4 part Aloe Vera gel (Use the clear kind, the green stuff usually has medicine in it), and 1/4 part honey. Heat the concoction till warm and mix. Slather it in your hair and cover with a plastic bag or shower cap. Leave this on for an hour (or even overnight) before you rinse it out. A lot of people have found this makes their hair soft and shiney.

Faith.

HAVE faith it is OK what probably hap pend is that your hair got over processed which means the color might have stayed on your a litte too long.

Any drug store and beauty supply store sells hot oil treatments for our hair that even can be used in a shower, deep cleaning conditioners you can wear for an hour and then rinse out.
Alberto VO5 have great hot oil treatments, tress semme is good also.

September is 3 months away and the damage can be fixed, you might want to look and ask around for a hair stylist that can better accommodate you.

And lastly Congratulations on your upcoming marriage you will look beautiful.

Use a deep conditioner and get it trimmed. Some nice deep conditioners at home are mayo or evaporated milk. Leave the conditioner in for a while (anywhere from 10 minutes to an hour) with a shower cap, then rinse it out. I recommend the mayo, but I've never tried evaporated milk.

It is called biolage matrix-hydratherapie. and CHI cationic hydration interlink. Get the biolage conditioning balm (the stuffs expensive-we're talking 40 bux in hair stuff, maybe) and use it with the shampoo. u can only get these things through licensed beauticians-at least the CHI, anyway. Use the directions if u want pretty hair for your wedding. Also, infusium 23 leave in treatment-my daughter fried hers so bad it was breaking in my fingers-we were afraid to fix it. And I bleach my hair. I ought to know what works.

Use lots of conditioner and try to avoid things that damage hair like being in a pool, hair driers and curling irons. It will help some..find a better salon and know that you will probably need to get it cut. Start looking at new styles you like..it should be fine by then.

Cutting off the damaged area as much as you can will make it look healthier. If you don't want to cut any off, you can take Biotin from GNC or a health store that will make your hair and nails grow fast. Try hot oil or put Mayo on it and wrap it in saran wrap tightly for HOURS.

Garnier Fructis deep conditioner. It comes in a small jar (like cold cream size). Lather it on, leave it on for a half hour (although it says at least 3 minutes).
Also, a hot oil treatment may help.

Good luck.

you have to cut off the damage and condition whats left. you need to go to a salon and tell them your problem, they can help you with a style. you still have a couple months left to grow it.
