You were probably holding water. Maybe you had had alot of salty food, or maybe you perspired alot in the past couple of days. If you just started a new eating plan, and are quite heavy, it is not unusual to lose alot of water weight right off the bat.

There are two many variables that can cause that- different clothes you have on, maybe you drank or ate some foods that haven't gone through your system, maybe even the time of day. Just worry if it KEEPS happening for several days straight. At 8 or 10 pounds in a week with no change in lifestyle, I would see a doctor, but 2 pounds is not really a big deal.

I don not know how you did it, but 2 pounds per week is a good weight lose. 2 pounds in 3 days is very fast.

There are three main ways to lose weight quickly.
1) Use only water as liquid and eliminate all other liquid drinks from your diet. You must drink as much water as possible every day. You must drink about half of your weight. If you have weight of 200 pounds then you must drink about 100 oz of water.
2) The interval between the eating is very important. If you eat once, then you must eat next after 4 hours. You must take breakfast regularly. In the night eat your food three hours before going to bed.
3) Walking is very good. You must walk as much as you can. Walk everywhere you can. Use of elevators and escalators must be reduced and instead of these you must climb stairs more often.
These are some of the fastest ways to lose weight. By just following the simple steps, you can lose your weight very quickly. You must consult your doctor if want to change your diet or exercise routine.

I have been losing weight my whole life with my heaviest being 360 lbs. I lost 19 lbs in 2 weeks. And even after losing most of my weight on a basic starvation diet and knee crippling exercise I knew this was the answer. I have never been below 25% BF. I have never looked as healthy as I do. I have never had the confidence that I have now. I have never felt as good as I feel.

Maybe it was water weight. There are several reasons why people have water weight. However dropping two pounds in three days is not big deal unless your anorexic. Heck I lose five pounds in my sleep. Don't worry about it.

Pay attention to your current intake of calories. Losing weight boils down to math. Burn more calories than you eat and you will lose weight. But, first you need to know how much you take in during a normal day. There are some terrific software programs and websites that can help you track your calories and will even help calculate how many calories you burn.
Once you know where you are starting, set goals to increase your activity to burn fat more quickly and reduce the number of calories you are taking in. As soon as you change
this equation your body will respond and you can lose weight quickly. The bigger the change you make the faster the weight loss will happen.

Weight fluctuates all the time, mine is a five pound fluctuation, back and forth all the time. All depends on your diet and what time of the month it is, for men and woman, we all retain extra weight at different times of the month. I wouldn't think a thing of it, unless it becomes drastic without your doing anything to bring it on. Good luck with that!
