These spices are eluding me, as I've looked through the internet, using several words. shichimi togarashi is also known as Japanese seven-spice seasoning.

Most spices and seasonings have no calories at all, so if that's what you're worried about just count it as 5 calories per tablsespoon and then you're all good. Best wishes

Things like spices don't have nutritional information on the packets here in Japan. So I'm afraid I have no idea!

But they're mostly dried and powdered vegetables or seed pods I expect, so there's not likely to be anything dodgy in them, and as coloryst said the fat and calorie content is negligible!

If you have any specific concerns, check which spices are in your seven spice blend - they vary a lot from company to company! The Sancho must be just Japanese pepper, so I doubt if there's anything to worry about there!

Beyond that, look for organic products if you don't want the residue of toxic chemicals to get in your food..!
