pigeon has been in garden all week. I have fed it and managed to catch it but need someone to come get it. ASAP

Stop feeding it and it should fly home. If you give it peanuts it will never leave. I have known doo-men who kill their birds that have got lost and turn up weeks late. If it does not leave why don't you convert your shed into a des res for your new family member! They are really smart wee birds, most people hate them but you know what most people are.

i wouldn't feed the pigeon, as this potential he friends the feeding jointly with his own loft, in case you need to capture the pigeon, area it in a field and head a plausible approx 15 - 20 miles out of your residence, launch the chook and that is going to hopefully to locate its potential homestead to its own loft and proprietor. Btw what's his ring quantity and that i will contact the BRHA
