If you think they have a chance then go for it. I got married at 16 aswell and split with my hubby for a while but in the end we worked it out. Try getting them to go on days out together with you and any other family. Dont tell them the other one will be there. Try sending cards and flowers to each of them from you but sign it them them, just silly little things like that. They will find out its from you in the end and just think its sweet, but most of all it will get them thinking about each other again and the good times. Keep trying but dont get to excited, it may not work, but you cant say you havent tried.

a similar project got here about in my relations. My Auntie ran off to the U.S. to be with some guy she met over the internet, leaving her little ones in the back of at the same time as they were so very youthful, and her husband wasn't a spiteful woman in any respect - she merely were given uninterested in him. the quantity of complications that talked about... in my opinion, you're mum could go away your dad complete end if she is gloomy - and he or she needs to do it at the same time as she needs to. Your dad will be diverse in the back of closed doors? Going from a wedding ceremony to a sparkling guy would no longer be the most appropriate element on your mum, because i imagine she needs some time to love herself and sense comfortable n chuffed.

Try and set up a dinner date. Have you dad come over, not so weird if they are still friends. Cook them dinner and then take you little sister out side or to her room to play with her. Just keep out of the way and try to keep you sister occupied so they can chat. Initiate the contact but let them take it from there.

Sorry to say this, but things are sometimes best left as they are.
There are too many feelings that have been hurt throughout their seperation, and if your mother has married another man then basically your dad is not the right man for her.
If your dad is keeping his feelings to himself, then maybe he is still hurting after they split all them years ago. getting back with your mother will not neccesarily repair those hurt feelings.

sorry to be the bearer of bad news but if they grew apart the feelings wont keep them together , they are apart for a reason, they couldn't get along, even if u want them to get back together, it would make all of you miserable , best to leave things alone and let the grown ups live their lives, anyone getting in the way will make them unhappy.

All children of divorce fantasize about their parents getting back together. Stay out of it. This is an adult situation between them. There's nothing you can do. You'll just pour on more salt into the wound.

You cannot do anything to get them back together as this is their decision to make (as they do not get along with each other)
However you might suggest to your dad to get him and your mom to see a couples counselor.
