Scientology believes in Xenu, a galactic tyrant who killed billions of aliens here on earth 75 million years ago. But, publicly Scientologists lie about this. One person on Yahoo asked a question about Xenu and a Scientologist of 35 years responded by saying it is not true. This scientologist is either lying (similar to the Moonies "heavenly deception" for our own good I suppose) or has not done the secret level that costs thousands of dollars. Jenna Elfman recently freaked out at a scientology critic, who responded with the Xenu story, and Elfman made her young friend cover his ears. What gives? If they are such good people, as they claim, why are they liars? Thanks, Phoenix

OT14 it is lying, the church has lied to you about this to.

For example,
Scientology says upon joining that it is compatible with all other faiths. How is the story of xenu, and the line were hubbard says jesus is an implant compatible with Christianity? It isn't this is a lie.

Hiding the truth, being economical with the truth, white lies, etc, whether you define them as lying or not you are deceiving people.

Upon becoming a clear, hubbard said they would have perfect memories and never get ill. This is a lie.

Hubbard said he writing for a penny a word is ridiculous, better to invent a religion and make millions. This he didn't lie about.

When Hubbard created scientology he came up with a lot of stories that he thought would be popular. Since none of them are true or based upon any sort of evidence we have to conclude that scientologists were actually telling the truth about Xenu being untrue.

Like many religions scientology is one where many of the followers pick and choose what they want to believe while ignoring the rest. Christianity and islam both do it. Have you ever seen a muslim man wearing a burka to cover his tresses like a woman does? If women have to cover their tresses with a burka because of one law why don't men because of the same law? The answer: because they don't feel like doing that.

Don't know about xenu but Scientology does not define God or Supreme Being, but rejects biblical description of God.Everyone is a "theaton", an immortal spirit with unlimited powers over its own universe, but not all are aware of this. Members observe birth of Hubbard and anniversary of publication of Dianetics. Controversy follows the group worldwide. Time magazine and Reader's Digest have published damaging exposes. Various media have reported that church leaders have had indictments and/or convictions for burglary, wiretapping conspiracy, and other felonies.

It is not really a question of lying about something. I would say it might be a question of revealing a truth to somebody in graded manner. As such when a person enters Church of scientology, he should engage with basic/life improvement Courses. To talk of things Xenu might be confusing and give misleading idea of what Scientology is all about.

I guess many of them don't really know what their religion is teaching or is about. Really sad if you ask me. If you have to pay to get to certain levels that is just a scam.
