The evidence can go on and on to prove that psychics at least have an ability that can't be explained. But is it an evil gift or a blessing? They use it for good so is it not then good?

Skeptic's be warned. The proof lies in their ability to solve unsolved cases. The police have used their gifts on many occasions and so they have used a gift that science, for the moment, can't prove against anymore then it can prove that their ability exists. But, come on!Read the links and tell me you're not the least bit impressed that they can solve these cases and do it without any facts before hand....

Actually, the person who responded previously is wrong. There is evidence which suggests there is something to psychic or intuitive power. They often help detectives in murder cases where there are no leads, which is a good thing.
Studies of the top psychics under impartial scientific analysis have shown that they DO get it right more often then their non-psychic counterparts, but it doesn't mean they ALWAYS get it right, just more often then the rest of us. So much so that even our own government wanted to use those who had psychic power as spys, I think they call it remote viewing? anyway they cancelled the project because it was too unreliable. UNRELIABLE, not fake or untrue, they didn't deny there was something there, they just couldn't control it and rely on it for accurate information. the government obviously knew there was an amount of "psychic power" or else they would have never started a project like that in the first place.
Do they talk to dead people? I don't know, I think many of them are mind readers. There is a lot more to what meets the eye than many of us are willing to admit. People who are religious of course call anything which is mystical and outside the barriers of organized religion demonic.
Hundreds of years ago, if you told someone they get sick because there are microscopic "bugs" that get into our bodies through our breath and multiply, they would accuse you of being a heritic or maybe a witch, you cohort with demons, because it is the devil which makes them sick or whatever other ignorant barbarism they attributed to illness.
But it was a fact that applies now as it did then: just because you can't see something with the naked eye does not mean it's not there.
It is human nature to say when we don't understand something which is a mystery that it is totally fake or it is demonic. I don't think it is either. I think it is somewhere in between the material world we see and the world or worlds which we can not.

It's like this: Religion is a business, and a way of manipulating people - it gives the leaders the power, wealth and prestige they crave. In order to achieve this they promise wonderful things if you do what they say is right, and terrible things if you do what they say is wrong. Gullible people, unfortunately, are inclined to believe these things, even today... but notice that it makes no difference *what* you do that the leaders say is wrong - they have to maintain control for their own selfish ends, so if you're stepping out of line it doesn't matter what it is you've done, so it's all regarded as equally heinous. They are only interested in keeping the business going, and of course there is no morality involved in any of this - organised religion is completely amoral, and only about obeying orders and self-interest. That's why all supposed 'sins' are equal. And of course gods don't really exist.

Here is the thing even the devil can be seen as an angel of light. Which is why the bible warns about testing spirits. While the devil doesn't know everything God does he does know what goes on in the world as it is his kingdom sorta, for now.
So he knows who killed who, when, how and where, etc. So when a psychic is "seeing" it's really a demon showing them what happened.
This is one way the devil will "lure" people away from God. He is a master of lies and deceits. And many people will be caught in his net.

Anyone who thinks that using any method that finds answers or victims of crime is an "evil gift" are harmful to humanity. We need to study these folks, set training standards, and get one assigned to major police departments. Too many missing children are never found not to give it a go.

They are all fakes.
There is NO such a thing as psychic power.
It contravenes the theories of thermodynamics, and is therefore, impossible.
Besides not ONE single 'psychic' has ever been examined by actual scientists and passed the test. Not one.

Religion REQUIRES its followers to accept what their leader tells them. Anything that empowers someone to think for themselves or trust their own judgment is suspicious and evil to them.

I don't know, but I know a lot of ministers who would say it was the devil's work.
