... And in which countries is it not?

OK, I wasn't asking if it looks stupid and frankly I don't want people's opinions on it. I just want to know where people find this disrespectful, and where people could care less. Don't bother commenting on anything else, please. Just comments within the context of the general culture of a country.

It has evolved in older countries with a history of warring to keep the hands exposed. This shows you have no weapons concealed and have friendly intentions.

I'm pretty sure this is common etiquette in most countries, but primarily areas of previous instability. There are probably areas where this is strict, but you'd have to investigate countries of interest.

I don't understand why it would be offensive to anyone, Pockets are there for a reason. To hold stuff and to put our hands in. People are way too uptight these days. If someone is offended by something as insignificant as that, then they need to get a life.

My question is: Why do you care or want to know???? You either want to offend them or not want to. Are you traveling to western europe? Or is that a question on trivial prusuit?

Is a zebra a black animal with white stripes? Or a white one with black stripes? Its a perception thing!

If youre in europe or go there, shake their hand when you meet someone and speak with them as you normally would to anyone anywhere else!

you understand, I remember better instructors with their hands of their gown pant wallet than scholars. maximum women positioned on pants so tight that their hands gained't even in wonderful condition into the tiny wallet. maximum boys had their pants superb on the floor so as that that they had could bend over to achieve their wallet to positioned their hands in. i imagine that it really isn't any longer impolite, it really is merely humorous searching or maybe their hands are chilly? distinctive little ones who wore hoodies would save their cellphones in them or of their wallet, so perchance the baby had their hands of their pocket to textual content message or some thing.
