I don't want to waste my time on betas when it could potentially ruin my comp... I'll usually wait for the full thing, even though they aren't really complete either.

Microsoft developers have the betas :) The beta is now available for download from http://www.microsoft.com/vista

I had both!!! Consumes lots of resources and still crashes :), but it's beta....
