My neighbor purposely put up windchimes to annoy us and it's working. I took them down and laid them on the ground, asked her not to put them there, but she does anyway. She called the cops on my because I took them down. Is there any legal action that can be taken to have her remove them? It's causing civil unrest in my household.

Apparently you don't get it. We can't even sit on our deck with these things. There is a noise violation clause in the neighborhood and anything that dissrupts the privacy or peace of the person next door is not allowed. But she still won't take them down.

And no she doesn't have a case against me. We got along fine before this. She even let us barrow things from her shed. I'd hardly call it trespassing in that case.

Learn to like them huh? You are the reason good fences make good neighbors.

I believe you can make some sort of legal claim. I suggest you refrain from removing anything from her property or stepping anywhere near it in the mean time. You could be charged with trespassing which will make you look bad when in court. I think you should take statements from each member in the household. Document times and dates where you asked your neighbor to politely take the wind chimes down and such. Do not write any bad blood between the two because it will become more of a he said she said at that point. If there are other neighbors on the other side of you or the neighbor you should maybe ask them to write something stating that it is causing a public disturbance. I would then call the cops and maybe get in contact with any persons in the neighborhood and local mayor or proper authority to make the matter a bigger issue that has to be dealt with. This noise obviously seems to be affecting your life and household which should be taken care of immediately.

I would check the web for your city or towns ordinances. Look for excessive noise and the like. Above all, DO NOT trespass on her property again - she could have you arrested. Also, set up a vid-cam, (preferably with some sort of low-light resolution so you can not only record the sounds, but have a video for proof when you go to small claims court - believe me, the judge will love you for it).
I had a similar problem some time ago. I live in the greater NYC area and my neighbor not only had wind-chimes, but dogs that barked and howled at the chimes all through the night. The dogs were otherwise quiet, but the tinkling always set them off. I and the other neighbors begged, pleaded, etc... all to no avail. Finally, we took her to small claims court and the judge ruled in our favor deeming that the noise was excessive after 10 PM and that she not only had to take down the wind-chimes, but pay us each $500 for undue stress, discomfort, etc... It wound up costing her $10,500. (We lived in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn and all the homes on our street as well as the next one over and behind us were row-houses. There were 21 of us in all.) Thankfully, the B*tch moved shortly thereafter!
Don't give up!

(windchimes annoy-took them down -asked her not to put them there-She called the cops-legal action-causing civil unrest) Kids will be kinds over little things.
How little things become big things on all sides just because we ALL forget the simple golden rule. We All want things our way and forget treating the other person nice and right. War starts over such little things getting out of hand. The above and so much more can be fixed if we All do not ignore the rule above. Why do not our paid clergy preach and teach that so we can ALL get along in PEACE globally and not make little things so big, that war comes upon ALL of us? Why is that rule so simple and yet so hard to live up to? Every human can live by that simple rule with a needed change of heart attitude! That rule is still alive and well, it just needs to be not ignored by any of us at any time. Ask your religious leader to teach that over ALL other teachings! More so if he is a Christian leader! Because their leader set that rule for them to teach at Matthew 7:12. Not a hard rule at ALL! World Leaders note that one great rule!
Can the world leaders see the real world problem below & fix it?http://geocities.com/stone2goliath/FBI-UN

If she put them up on her property then you really have no right to touch them, as you found out. If they make noise above a certain decibel rating then you can file a complaint with your local police department but, you will end up having to take her to court in order to have her cease and desist. Other than that learn to like the wind chimes, and stop thinking that she cares so much about you that she spent money on those wind-chimes just to cause you grief; after all, maybe she just likes the sound and put them up for herself while your feelings did not enter into the equation.

Well, you kind of screwed the pooch when you removed the windchimes, thus losing all opportunities of an amicable agreement.
Windchimes aren't usually considered noise pollution, so I don't see that you have a legal case.

Wind chimes? Don't think so, unless they sound like Big Ben all the time. And yes, you were trespassing on her property when you took them down so she probably does have a case against you.

A dog should be trained on how to eat, walk with you, not to bark, potty training and sleep on its place etc. You can teach anything to your puppy, dogs get trained easily with some good instructions. If you want some good training tips visit https://tr.im/H3J67
If properly trained, they should also understand whistle and gesture equivalents for all the relevant commands, e.g. short whistle or finger raised sit, long whistle or flat hand lay down, and so on.
It's important that they also get gestures and whistles as voice may not be sufficient over long distances and under certain circumstances.

I doubt it. Look to see if there are covenants in your neighborhood that prevent the wind chimes, but you are most likely SOL. Keep in mind that she CAN have you arrested for trespassing at the least for taking them down.

Dude-- you need a hobby, something to do with your time. Why don't you go volunteer at a homeless shelter. Is this really what you have in your life to stress about?

Sorry, but I gotta agree with your neighbor on this. And I love windchimes. Good thing my neighbors are more tolerant than you!
