some ppl are really ignorant having low self-esteem is not something u can snap out of and b e on ur merry way it takes time i understand it can be depressin for others cuz honestly i have played the depressed and the one to accompany a depressor but when a person is depressed they need someone to encourage and remind them of how great they are rather than an ignoramus telling them to "snap out of it"

Actually yes! low self confidence is about patterns that have evolved in us. Do you ever get the feeling that you cant do something? well, there you go. you may have been told that you couldnt do certain things as a child and multiple times. guess what? it is now a pattern. you fall in to a cyclical pattern. for example, ralationships: why do we fall into a relationship with someone that is not good for us all of the time? why do we no go after people who will make us a better person. The answer is that this has been instilled in us for a long time. I mean, this is where we think we should be. This is where we feel comfortable.

There are many successful manics in the world, but they themselves never see their own success. Depression can be a very debilitating disease, not everyone can understand that. Since your mind controls everything, it is virtually impossible not to be held back when you are always fighting yourself. A manic faces all the same problems other people do but in addition they have themselves to fight. Sometimes the desire to end ones life is so strong that it obliterates everything else. The best decision is to seek help early and do not attempt to deal with these problems alone. Find a professional, that has your best interest at heart and take small steps to regain control of your thoughts.

i used to suffer from it. w/low self-confidence you dont have the confidence to go out and do things you like or go for a job you really want. i got married and gained alot of confidence in myself.
u just need tostop letting what other ppl think of u and do things that make u feel better about ur self.

Lots of people do but they deal with it differently to those who get depressed. With those who get depressed it is more a lack of self-esteem, which ends up in a vicious circle of low confidence, self lothing and suicidal thoughts.
