I come from a country were most people claim to be Christians and a few call themselves Muslims. I've met people of both religions. I think that there's no great difference between them. All encounter the same problems and sorrows and seek the same things.

The Muslims I know take their religion far more serious than most Christians, but that could be simply due to the fact that they are a minority trying to keep their treasures alive.

Atheists are people who believe that there's no God. I don't think they can be blamed for it, as long as they don't offend (and they usually do not offend because they're not an institution to command power). It's their answer to one of the greatest and oldest questions in human history and they probably think it is true. So how can we expect them to act?

We 're all humans. We shouldn't blame others for not having discovered our piece of truth. We should be happy if they're good and honest, trying not hurt others or to make them unhappy. And even more happy for every seed of goodness.

Christians believe Jesus was the son of God and the savior of mankind who died to cleanse of our sins and will save us from hell.

Muslims believe Jesus was just a prophet that did great things and people perceived him to be more. There is no associations with God. There is only one God and that's that. They also believe that most of the bible is true (almost all bible stories are Qur'anic stories) and calls it a holy book.

Atheists believe in science and/or nothing. Its more of a social word than an actual category. Common beliefs include religion is a system to deny human's mortality (afterlife) and a way of controlling the population by setting rules that have the worst punishment.

Agnostics are those that believe in a god, but don't think god has any importance or affects us in daily life.

Christians claim that Jesus is the Christ, Son of God. Muslims follow the God of Abraham, but believe that Muhammed was God's true prophet, Atheists don't believe in God. Jews, Christians and Muslims all worship the God of Abraham, God as known in the Hebrew Scriptures, or Old Testament. Muslims trace their origins back to Ishmael, Abrahams son by Hagaar.
The Atheists I know consider themselves "humanists." In that they believe it is up to us to make the world a better place, that people need to treat one another with decency, but not out of a religious motive. But from what I see on here, there are about as many types of Atheism as there are religious sects.
Hope that's helpful!

Christians believe Jesus was the seal of the prophets, the son of God and our Savior. They teach you to model your life after Jesus.

Muslims believe Mohammed was the seal of the prophets and our most divine prophet. Although the definitely believe in and love Jesus, they simply do not consider him the son of God. They consider it an insult upon God that he had a need to take on a son. They say if God says something is to be, it just is. If he told Mary "be pregnant", this does not mean this was his child. They feel you should mold your life around God and only God.....not the prophet that delivered God's message.

I think Atheists just don't believe there is a God whatsoever.

The difference in what they believe is right. Thats all. 2 believe a god exists but differ in their exact beliefs and an atheist believes no god exists. There are actually many different groups inside of Islam and Christianity that have different beliefs as well.

A Christian believes in God as creator and Jesus Christ as their lord and personal savior.
A Muslim believes in Allah as creator and Mohammed as their prophet.
An Atheist believes what they can see or what can be proven.
There are many different sects that exist for all three of these. Interesting that you aren't curious about Judaism, Buddhism, Hinduism, Sikhism, Zoroastrianism, Paganism, tribal religions, voodoo and Scientology, etc. Those are fascinating, too.

I'm a Muslim, the most important difference is God:
-Christians think that God is one of three
-Muslims believe that God is one, with no partners, no sons (Which makes God holy from any humanly character)
-Atheists don't believe in God altogether.
