My only vision problem when I had bad depression was that colors seemed duller.
Always get your eyes checked out if you have vision problems. It is not a symptom of depression.

Have you had your Thyroid checked? Hypothyroidism (having a slow or underactive thyroid gland) is often a cause of depression. Thyroid disorders can also affect vision. It is also possible that any medications you are taking may be affecting your vision.
I suggest you talk to your doctor about having your thyroid levels evaluated ( a simple blood test.) and discuss the possible side effects of any meds you are taking. It is also possible that you may simply need a pair of glasses.

No. I don't think there would be a correlation there. You probably need to go get your vision checked. And some help for your depression. Good luck!!

If your on a medication for depression, it is very likely you will have negative side effects. Consider that the brain tissue literally grows into the eye, towards the light, and therefore chemicals that effect brain metabolism will effect the eye as well.

Are you sure you have depression? a medical condition may be behind your problems, if you haven't seen a doctor, you should do so.

"Dumplinmuffin" is right. Also, you might want to see if you are diabetic. High blood sugar can affect vision.
Sometimes we eat a lot of sweets when depressed....???
