with salmon I'd have a Sonoma Cutrer Chardonnay, or a Rombaur Chardonnay.... With salmon I like a nice heavy chardonnay.... buttery and full of flavor....
or try a white Treana... it is a blend of several white grapes.... the white Treana is a white that I have served to people that say they only like red wine and they LOVE it.... very full of flavor...

Wollersheim Winery's Prairie Fumee, which is an American Seyval Semi-Dry. Of course, regardless of what you were serving, that's what I'd suggest since it's the only wine I actually like :)~

A Reisling. I prefer Schmitt Sohne...Their Qualitatswein (blue) is what they reccomend.. medium body, crisp, light, friuty with peach and apple aromas...but honestly I hate it, and prefer thier Spatlese (red) ight, but very intense, fruity, not dry at all. I am in love with thier Auslese Reisling (green). Overly ripe grapes, sweeter, goes well with cheese fruits, dessert. I guess, settle with Spatlese for dinner, and Auslese for dessert. Yum, and all between $9 and $13 a bottle.
