Dr. Bucaille says:
“Whereas the Bible calls the sun and moon ‘lights’, and merely adds to one the adjective ‘greater’ and to the other ‘lesser’, the Qur’an ascribes differences other than that of dimesion to each respectively” (The Bible, the Qur’an and Science, p. 156).
In all of these verses, God expresses the notion that the sun and the moon are “not absolutely identical lights” (The Bible, the Qur’an and Science, p. 156).
Dr. Bucaille draws his conclusions from what he found in the Qur’an about the sun and the moon:
“What is interesting to note here is the sober quality of the comparisons, and the absence in the text of the Qur’an of any elements of comparison that might have prevailed at the time and which in our day would appear as phantasmagorial” (The Bible, the Qur’an and Science, p. 157).
In short, “There is nothing in the text of the Qur’an that contradicts what we know today about these two celestial
bodies.” (The Bible, the Qur’an and Science, p. 157)

I believe they both contain truth, although it is only a portion, and is not understood fully without many years of deep introspection and revelation from God. People can begin to come to know God through reading these holy books, pondering the messages, and receiving enlightenment (and further understanding) through the Spirit of God. I would give both books equal respect, and ponder on them with my heart, so that I can receive the Lord's guidance as to his intended meaning, and also what parts are truly from Him and what are not. I also have respect for the Book of Mormon, another testament of Jesus Christ, which was written by inspiration of God to holy prophets. It has much pure truth by which to begin to understand other books. Yes, the Bible and Quran teach quite similar things, as does the Book of Mormon, the Dhammapada, and the I Ching and other sacred books. The more religious texts I read, the more similarities I see, even though they may not have been in contact with one another at the time of writing... (I know the Quran was in contact with the OT, at least, but that is okay. The Lord does help revelation to come upon the back of revelation that has already been given, so people will understand His truth. God builds "line upon line, precept upon precept" so we can either learn to understand, or reject truth, according to our own desires). Anyway, seeing the many similarities between all sacred texts shows me that indeed there is a God, independently revealing truth to different prophets, in different times. A strange and interesting thing is that it seems through the study of religious history that many prophets in different parts of the world are all inspired simultaneously. This suggests to me that there are periodic outpourings of Spirit upon the earth... perhaps coinciding with astrological events. So, in answer to your Q, I believe all truth. I believe most sacred books contain precious truths, but we should listen for the "still small voice" of inner revelation, which helps us to truly understand.

While I haven't read this book, I am aware of the origins of the Quran and, as such, find it rather unlikely that three's "proof" of its truth any more than there's proof of any religion.
But I'm glad you liked the book. My hope is that you will spread light and love as a result, not condemnation and hatred.

Yes, it sure is a great book.
It brings out true evidences from the Qur'an.
Even if one doesnt believe in either religion, its worth reading it. Islam emphasizes on gaining knowledge.

According to 1 John 2:22, Islam is anti-Christ, and can only lead to destruction.
This I believe; http://homelessheart.com/testimony.htm
