i agree. I ask christians questions and they give me hateful remarks. Its as though they have no incentive to be nice because Jesus saved them from being respectful to other people. and what about turn the other cheeck? when i was a christian i thought they were held to higher standards, i was dead wrong. I left because of the hypocracy and ignorance.

Its because they are people......people aren't perfect.
My Dad is a hard core Christian, he's a deep down good man. Maybe I'm saying this because he's my Dad.
So anyway I asked him, pretty much the same question. Because everytime I meet a hard core Christian they are mean, selfish and just plain old grumpy all around. And of course no matter what you say or do...they tell you how wrong you are and you're going to hell.
Well, my Dad said what I said in the first sentence. He even said that's why some Churches seem so corrupt and backstabbing. He said, "Hey, when you have people........you have problems" That's why you don't go to church for the people, you should go for the obvious other reasons.
Personally, I don't go to Church nor do I think I am a Christian. I think the people influenced me in a wrong way a little too much.

That's a very good question, especially considering that It is in direct conflict with Christ's teachings. In other words, they are doing exactly opposite of one of the very core principals that they are here on earth to do, be humble and below all things. A very good example of this is the way other religions put down the Mormon religion, especially born again Christians. They have no idea what the Mormons even believe and yet they are taught how bad and wrong we are through out their lives. Even from the pulpit. We of the Mormon faith do not put them down. We believe all Christian faiths are good and that all people who believe in the bible and try to live by bible principals are good. Yes, there are many people of the Mormon faith who do not live or speak in the fashion of a good Christian either. However, just as we shouldn't put down other religions, or anybody Christian or not, neither should anyone else who calls themselves Christian. The problem is pride.

I know for certain that when a person is allowed by Our Heavenly Father to know His only begotten son Yeshua Christ Jesus it wells up in that person and that person wants to share it with everyone. Especially non-Christians.
As for talking behind others backs, that happens at times and I would suggest that you help them out in your daily prayers.
God makes all His children special and fills us with His wisdom and understanding through His Holy Spirit. There are ignorant Christians on their way to being educated. Sounds like you may be someone God could use to further His Ministry.
Thanks for the great question and hope to here from you again.

Why does non-believers so disrectful of themselves and Christians and every other religions?
It seems that when u, nonbelievers ask question, it has a sarcastic tone and mock that makes us think you want to bite our heads off. And you're really bad talking...no evidence so I'll leave that one out. Anyways, everyone is special even the ignorant ones. Forgive us if we show ourselves that way...I never show myself that way but I'm assuming that someone has been that to you so sorry, we still fail even though we're pardoned which means we are still humans. But someday we will be perfect to your relief...count on it unless there will be another thing to talk about...there's always something to talk about.

I'm surprised I didn't take that offensively but hey, everyone is entitled to their own opinion. But the thing about Christians being disrespectful is surprisingly something I agree with. I came across a Christian who told me I won't be going to heaven if I keep holding a grudge against people. All in all, Christians think they are high and mighty and that is what makes them ignorant. Just their mind alone.

Please read the history of Christianity.
It is a faith based on the Greek Mythology.
The roman empire adopted the christian faith and based it on the Greek meths.
Later the basics of Christianity were developed based on each European cultures. An example is the Christmas tree where it is based on German meths of worshiping tree.
The Christian faith later was based on the old testament since it has no ground rules to stand on. Later in time they developed the new testament.
Originally it was called the eastern Greek orthodox because it was based on the Greek-roman meths under the roman empire.
After the fall of the roman empire, you have the eastern Greek orthodox and the western roman catholic. Later, the British invented the protestants and that lead to the 40 years war in Europe that still on going so far in a secret way.
Jesus never wrote the bible and he never set the rules of Christianity, and his massege came as a reformation to the Jewish belief since it was all made up by man and not by God any more.
600 years later after Jesus left, the bible was created by a person who was an alcoholic and a sinner, yet he kept dreaming about what to write as he claims that God spoke to him.
The British English Empire forced mankind to become christian protestants in order to increase the area of the British Empire, british forced people to speak english and to carry english names. The Bible was written in english and more things were changed. Causing more confusion to the confused.
The christian faith is made for the white man and by the white man to rule earth, and within the white man there are great animosity exist, and internal hate that leads to continuous fighting.

I am not disrespectful to my fellow Christians. I have a lot of respect for them and love. However, non-believers can be a stubborn little bunch and can also be very disrespectful towards believers. As long as non-believers do not bash my religion or my set of beliefs, I have no reason to "bite their heads off." I just follow the Golden Rule, "treat others the way you want to be treated."

You've not come across the right group of Christians. Or you're posing your questions in a non polite way. A true christian is always happy to try to answer questions backing up their answers with a bible. A true christian always has a bible on hand. A TRUE CHRISTIAN UNDERSTANDS IT'S A SIN TO TALK ABOUT OTHERS, AND KNOWS TO CONDUCT THEMSELVES PROPERLY IN A GOD LIKE FASHION. A true christian is warm and loving and non judgmental. I hope you get the point. Find a new set of people to talk to.

That is certainly not true and a big generalization. I know of many Christians who don't buy off people's heads. Christians are supposed to tell their fellow brothers and sisters about God but they are not to be rude and tactless. If they are, you just happened to stumble upon a bad person. Don't equate bad encounters with individuals to an entire religion.
