Actresses and actors sometime cry in movies. How do you make them cry?

I believe most good actors and actresses can make themselves cry with some preparation. Shirley Temple was expert at that, although I hear her most famous crying scene was initiated by someone telling her that her pet dog had died. Another possibility would be onions, which someone mentioned, but I have not heard of anyone confessing to using that. I once heard that Vaseline was used to simulate tear-streaked cheeks, but I don't know how to confirm it. With some of the shenanigans that actresses and actors pull that get to the news, maybe the best way to make them cry is to actually give them a jail sentence.

What they can do is they are really good actors. Sometimes the actors they work with are so good that it makes them cry. Usually what they do is picture something that is sooooo sad that it makes them cry, once they connect with that picture, they are able to control there feelings from there. Or they think of something from long ago in there past that has made them cry ever sense or something that would be tragic. Quote from Beyonce Knowels "They only way I cry in movies is if i picture someone in my life dying" Very interesting question.

You don't do anything. They have to do it. That's part of being an actor/actress. Usually, what they do is call up the memory of a particularily painful memory, something that made them cry buckets at the time, and it's usually enough to trigger tears when they need them.
If that doesn't work, they squeeze a dab of onion juice on their wrist, and that brings tears.

they used glycerine or by emotions of there past of a bad incident or by onion tears comes natural and you know for getting money or a good role they will cry there best.

well sometimes, the actor can just bring up an old memory and the start flowing. sometimes they use artificial tears.

u can make a fake picture of someone in there family died or poke them in there guts or eye or mugged there home or spilled pepper in there eye or butt or others!
