My boyfriend is the "alpha" dog...but my dog (5 month old female) has started pee-ing in my bed. Other than in the bed, she's completely potty trained! What do I do to stop her?! Punish her? Lock her outside? Spank her? Help!!!

Dogs are pack driven animals. When they are in a family enviorment (You, your boyfriend and your dog) this is their pack. Dogs will make their territory known by marking it, usually with urine. She is leaving her scent in your bed along with your human scents that are already on the bed. I would suggest not letting her up on the bed when she is unsupervised. If you are on the bed with her and she begins to urinate quickly remove her and scold her with a stern "NO", and put her outside. This may take some time for her to get the connection that she isn't supposed to mark the bed. Hitting her will only confuse her since what she is doing is only natural to dog behavior. You have to modify the behavior with an alternative, such as placing her out side for a little while and monitoring her while she is up on the bed. She is still a puppy at five months and needs training. Persistance and lots of fabreeze will help stop this annoying habit. Also she may get over excited when she is up on the bed and urinate submissively to show she is not the alpha dog, so don't make her get excited and play up on the bed, just let her know that she is allowed to snuggle and lay down on the bed but it isn't somewhere to play rough and act crazy (at least for the puppy lol)
Hope that helps you :)

you're bf needs to show who is the alpha male. If your dog is used to sleeping in your bed then she thinks she's the leader. Seeing someone intrude on her territory makes her want to mark her spot. A trick that is used in some dog training facilities is to take the front paws and pin her down with your hand on her throat (not choking her) until she stops struggling. This might take a few tries for her to submit. Dogs are pack animals and rank is their instinct

You have to train her to go outside because if you don't it will keep peeing in your bed

The answer is simple.... you (like all other humans) try to treat animals as if their humans, its by nature they pee anywhere!

Just keep her out of your god-damn room!

P.S. (edit)

The question was about your dog pee-ing on the bed, so why the hell must you mention your boyfriend?
