if it has occurred more than one time seizure is more likely need to consult neurologist u need EEG or Video EEG with photopic stimulation and hyperventilation(this can cause seizure clinically also, don't try at home only advised at hospital).my diagnosis for u is complex partial seizure? or syncope?

I wouldn't worry about it unless it happens again. Do ask your friend to write down what he remembers, though, while it's still fresh in his mind. If what he writes frightens you, call your doc. If not, wait and see.

Ask him if you moved. Did you make any sounds? Were your eyes open or closed? (And why would he take your pulse? Does he think that'll tell him if you're having a seizure? ~G~)

It isn't true that you would have been shaking. There are many types of seizures. One kind only happens when you are asleep. But it's also possible that you just fell asleep.

not all seizures cause shaking. The ones who don't are called Petiete mall seizures. Had you have a lot to drink?
If this is a one time thing don't worry, but if it happens more often get yourself to a doctor. You also might have Narcalepsy

We can all sit here and guess what may be wrong with you, but if you really are concerned, and want to take care of your body--get it checked out by an M.D., who should refer you to a Neurolgist. There could be medication to control this, but maybe you just wanna wait around for it to happen again. It is your health at risk here, not mine.
