If you go to the chemist you get this stuff called driclor. You put it on and night and wash it off in the morning. There are gentler stuff (ask the pharmacist) but it stops you sweating and if you use it continually it will stop you sweating for a period of weeks. Boots have a good range of these kind of products.
UPDATE- the more gentle stuff is called perspirex http://www.mosquit-ex.co.uk/perspirex/index.html

I am with you, I have very large sweat pores, so I know that something to use is certian dry. But if you do still sweat (under the arms) a good way to hide it is to roll up your sleaves so that they are above your shoulder (this works best in a short sleaved shirt). It makes it so you can not see that you have sweat as much.

My daughter is using Certain Dri. She says it works better than anything else she's tried, but still has to wear sleeveless shirts due to staining from perspiration.
I'm sure you could order it online if it's not available locally.

I used to use Nivea. It's pretty good , but I got tired of it.
Now I use 8x4 , the on in the green bottle.
And don't use spray ones because they don't help.
