Your God is the one who sent Jesus to you.
christians are lieying to themselves when they say God is = 3. and there are many evidences from the Bible that Jesus and God are two different things.
here is One:
"My God ! My God! why have you forsaken me"
"why calling me good. and there is no good but God"
"the Lord our God is only one God"
1st commandments: you shall not take other gods before me!
christians simply disbelieved the words of God and believed the words of men unjustly.

God is one universal God in three distinct persons (thus the descriptive word Trinity): Father, Son and Holy Spirit
The first place to start is in the Old Testament. The Prophet to the Jews Isaiah had a Trinatarian faith.
Father: Isaiah 12:1 – In that day you will say: “I will praise you, O LORD. Although you were angry with me, your anger has turned away and your have comforted me.” (Suggesting the Parent/Child relationship)
Son/Father: Isaiah 9:6-7 – For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counsellor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
Holy Spirit: Isaiah 61:1 – The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me….
New Testament
Holy Spirit: 1 Corinthians 2:6-12
Father/Son relationship: John 14

Depends in what capacity. Most people think of omniscient God that is present all over, the creator of the universe however, when we discuss God in mass, God is the trinity because in order for humans to obtain such an experience with God, we need the Son and the Holy Spirit.

All through the bible God requires judgment to be by two or more witnesses.
With God the Father, Jesus the Son, and the Holy Ghost there will always be two witnesses in heaven.
Having trouble with three being one?
When God married Adam and Eve in the book of Genesis, God said man and wife will no longer be two but one flesh. They will think, agree, and live as one unit while still being two people.
Believe me the Godhead will agree more than a married couple.

The three fold manifestation of God is referred to as the trinity. The one God showed himself in three different forms.
My name is Kim, I AM SOMEBODY'S NIECE, I'M ALSO SOMEBODY'S DAUGHTER, I"M SOMEBODY'S SISTER. I am the same person, just with more than one function. It is the same with God.
Originally he is GOD the spirit. The time came for man to be redeemed from sin and so he put on flesh so he could shed blood for our sins on the cross (spirit cannot bleed hence he put on flesh). The time came for him to leave earth and since he wasn't gonna be around in flesh he left the spirit form of himself which is the holyghost.
Therefore: GOD THE FATHER, GOD THE SON, GOD THE HOLYGHOST. And his name is JESUS. See Matthew 1:21, John 5:43 and John 14:26.
Just different forms of manifestation. There are no THREE Gods, only ONE GOD. The trinity believes in three Gods, but the bible constantly declares that there is one God. !!!Read:JAMES 2:19!!!

God is three in one, but not a moster of three heads like a guy told me the other day, three in one means different persons but same essence. the water for a example, when the water become ice, it has a different use, when it evaporates it has another use and when is liquid of course have another use. it is water in those three states (water, liquid, gaseous) different states, but water still. same with God. God The Father, God The Son and God The Holy Spirit. You have always know that God is love, and love cant exist in just one unit. The perfect link of Love is in the circle of the trinity.

Jesus is the only begotten Son of God. (making two beings so far).. and Jesus told his deciples that he would send the comforter to them after he was gone (speaking of the Holy Ghost... and making 3 beings)
All three have ONE WILL... the will of the Father. Three beings with ONE purpose.

God does have three aspects that constitute one God, but only the spiritually minded can comprehend that concept.
